Mr Floyd Larry is an alternative rock band based in Miami, Florida. Presenting a modern soundscape of melodic riffs, heavy basslines and unique vocals. His sound ranges from dreampop, shoegaze, post-punk, funk, and more; His music places you in a nostalgic trance, reminding you of fond memories. Floyd Larry began making music in 2018, starting off as a producer creating rap beats. However, he always had a love for bands. Growing his sound from bands like DIIV, Beach Fossils, Gorillaz, Cocteau Twins, etc. His music combines the best aspects of classic and modern rock music, creating a sound that is both fresh and timeless. His songs frequently deal with themes of love, longing, and heartbreak and are delivered with a refreshing feeling of vulnerability.
